The symposium "Acoustics High Tatras 2024" focuses on the exchange of theoretical and practical knowledge from various fields of acoustics, mainly on building and room acoustics, environmental acoustics, novel and sustainable materials and perception of sound. Interdisciplinary topics are also welcome, mainly those connecting challenges in acoustics driven by climate change. A special attention will be given to "Education in Acoustics in Slovakia". A brainstorming session on the preparation of a postgraduate study program on acoustics will be organized together with representatives of Czech Acoustics Society and international advisors (acousticians from abroad who will participate in the symposium). Program on the 12th of June will be dedicated to Young Slovak (and Czech) acousticians network. ICUA2024 International Conference on Underwater Acoustics

University of Bath Claverton Down, Bath, United Kingdom

The conference, taking place at the University of Bath, will have a series of oral sessions covering a broad spectrum of international underwater acoustic research. We will have two keynote speakers and the A B Wood Medal Lecture. There will be an IOA Young Members and UKAN Early Careers Group evening. The Conference reception and dinner will take place in the world famous Roman Baths and Pump Room. A Nick Pace Memorial Session is being planned for our friend and colleague died in 2022 after spending most of his career at Bath. In 2024, we will honour his memory and his many achievements in underwater acoustics, at the forefront of instrument development and field deployments, with presentations from many of his former students and colleagues. We look forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues from all over the world to present your latest research.
