CALENDAR OF MEETINGS AND CONGRESSES
The Argentine Congress on Acoustics, organized annually by the Association of Argentine Acousticians (AdAA), is the main national meeting that brings together researchers, educators, professionals, and advanced students working in the broad field of acoustics and related disciplines. The congress covers a wide range of topics, including Architectural Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Control, Psychoacoustics and Hearing Physiology, Audiology, Bioacoustics, Electroacoustics, Medical and Environmental Acoustics, Forensic Acoustics, Elastic Waves and Non-Destructive Testing, Acoustic Emissions, Audio Metrology, Ultrasound, Signal Processing, and Acoustics Regulations and Legislation, among others. The main objective of the congress is to promote scientific exchange, foster collaboration with international researchers, and strengthen the training of young scientists and professionals in the field. The event includes plenary lectures delivered by specialists, parallel oral presentation sessions organized by thematic area, spaces for institutional and industry participation, and activities specifically designed to encourage interaction between academia, industry, and students.
The 5th African Bioacoustics Community conference is being hosted outside of South Africa for the first time ever, offering the exciting opportunity to join us in Kenya! The conference is being hosted as a hybrid event at Sawela Lodges, Lake Naivasha, Kenya from the 22nd to the 27th of November 2026. As in previous years, we anticipate that the conference will be of interest to bioacoustics researchers, students, and people working / interested in bioacoustics or relevant disciplines. Themes include behaviour and biology, acoustic monitoring and conservation, physiology and evolution, applied and ecoacoustics, advanced technology and methodology, citizen science, and science communication.
Acoustics ’27 is a joint international congress organized by the Belgian Acoustics Association (ABAV), the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), and the European Acoustics Association (EAA) including the 2027 Congrès Français d’Acoustique (CFA) and uniting multiple acoustics communities at a single event. Event description We are pleased to invite you to Acoustics ’27, organized by the Belgian Acoustics Association (ABAV), the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) and the European Acoustics Association (EAA), this major international congress will also include the 2027 Congrès Français d’Acoustique (CFA), uniting several important acoustics communities at a single event.
