*Adobe Reader
The papers in the CD-ROM are in PDF format and require Adobe Reader to read them. If you do not have Adobe Reader installed on your PC, launch the Adobe Reader installer bundled on the CD-ROM and install Adobe Reader. (We also recommend installing the program if you have a lower version than 6.0.). The program is also available from the Adobe web site (http://www.adobe.com).

Adobe Reader 6.0 supports Asian fonts (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). If the PDF file contains Asian fonts, follow the instructions given in the Online Help while connected to the Internet and the fonts will be aromatically downloaded and installed.

For detailed instructions on how to use Adobe Reader 6.0, go to the Adobe web site (http://www.adobe.com) or refer to the Help function of Adobe Reader 6.0.

*Word search function
Adobe Reader 6.0 includes an excellent word search function. The search function cannot be used while the PDF file is open in the browser. To use the function, launch the "CD-ROM_help.pdf" file from the CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive, and click the following button. Specify the pdf folder in the CD-ROM and you can then search all the papers (PDF files) for the desired word or words. For detailed information on how to use the search function, refer to the Help function of Adobe Reader.
